Yesteryear takes on so many hard hitting topics that are in our current zeitgeist without holding back on anything. This was not my normal genre and I think Caro Claire Blake nailed this on the head. This book is a wild ride! It took me all the way until the end and even then I had to have the plot twist spelled out for me. 

What I do find very interesting as well is that every single publisher, from now until next spring/summer has a psychological fiction or a horror novel coming out about trad wives!

Yesteryear in particular was won by Knopf in a 15 publisher bidding war and has already had the film rights sold to MGM/Amazon studios. Actress Anne Hathaway will be executive producer and starting as the main character Natalie Heller Miller.

I truly can’t wait to see how this is viewed in the public’s eyes. It most likely be seen as extremely divisive, but it is also extremely needed in my opinion.
